BECOME A MEMBER

The Jay Treaty Border Alliance (JTBA) was formed in 2017 by Tribal governments and First Nations communities to collaborate on our efforts to improve the border crossing experience of Tribal members pursuant to Article III of the Jay Treaty, create effective working relationships with the United States Customs and Border Protection and Canada Border Services Agency, and address issues that are unique to the United States-Canadian border.

To continue our important work, the JTBA welcomes all Tribal Nations to join in our mission by becoming a formal member of the Alliance. JTBA members will receive the latest updates on our advocacy, be informed about upcoming opportunities to meet with the United States Customs and Border Protection and Canada Border Services Agency, attend JTBA webinars and Summits, and more!

JOIN THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

The Jay Treaty Border Alliance (JTBA) is inviting Tribal Nations to join our Executive Committee for an annual membership fee of $5,000 USD.

The annual membership fee contributes towards facilitating conferences, organizing fly-ins, hiring event planners for major gatherings, maintaining our website, and other essential operational expenses that drive our shared mission forward.

Executive Committee Members will be invited to participate in high-level discussions with U.S. and Canadian federal government officials, propose and adopt resolutions to be signed by the JTBA Co-Chairs, vote on pivotal policy matters, and advise the JTBA Co-Chairs on upcoming Summits and events.
