Sovereignty Recognized, Rights Respected.
JOIN THE JAY TREATY BORDER ALLIANCE
The Jay Treaty Border Alliance (JTBA) was formed in 2017 by Tribal governments and First Nations communities working together to protect and advance the inherent right of Indigenous peoples to freely cross the U.S.–Canada border as recognized under Article III of the 1794 Jay Treaty.
Membership in the Jay Treaty Border Alliance is more than participation: it’s partnership. Our Nations share a responsibility to protect our people, lands, and the border regions we call home. Joining JTBA continues that legacy. Together, we work to ensure that border policy honors our service, our sovereignty, and our enduring responsibility to to this land.
